Training & Quality Manager (North Area/5 days/Learning Institute)(TBB)


The Training and Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the continuous training of employees or trainees based on the organizational and individual needs. This position should ensure that quality procedures are documented, audited and maintained. The scope of the role includes campaign setup, implementation and performance management. Through the completion of quality audits, the Training and Quality Manager is also responsible for working with the Training and Operations teams to improve procedures.



  • Plan, direct and supervise the work activities of the training and quality team
  • Work with relevant government agencies to develop training and quality initiatives that incorporate the theories of Adult learning, interactive training techniques and assessment tools that enable agents to exceed expectations
  • Provides recommendation and resources to support any training or quality gaps for product, client or internal drivers
  • Develop training manuals, visual aids and other training materials
  • Defines training budget (training equipment, videos, and exterior training programs)
  • Creates and analyzes training and quality reporting to support business needs and initiatives
  • Execute training programs
  • Create training policies and schedules
  • Validate and verify data collection procedures and formats
  • Implementing Customer Operations Performance Center metrics and other quality initiatives
  • Provide leadership and guidance for Training team
  • Recruit, appraise and develop Associate Trainers, Associate Developers and Associate Assessors
  • Develop and oversee training curriculums and QA processes
  • Maintain a measurement system to determine Return on Investment on training and quality
  • Establish and drive tactical and strategic Training and QA plans and initiatives
  • Supports other programs and projects by sharing best practices, experiences and know-how
  • Submission of all reports required to SSG/WSG/e2i
  • To develop and enhance the process flow within the organisation to conform to SSG/WSG and CPE requirements
  • To support the Sales team in their sales process and overseeing training operations in the campus
  • To lead and ensure all audits meet the compliance of the respective government agencies
  • To upkeep and update the company’s process flow in compliance with government regulations
  • Other ad-hoc activities as assigned by the General Manager



  • Degree / Specialized Professional Award or equivalent
  • Work Experience:  3 years and above

Compulsory skill set, professional certification and/or experience required:

  • At least 3 years of related experience as a Training & Quality Manager
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (AQF TAE40110)
  • Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (WSQ DACE)
  • Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (WSQ ACTA)
  • Familiar with Skillsfuture SG (SSG) and Workforce Singapore (WSG)auditing and submission of documents’ requirements
  • Familiar with Council for Private Education (CPE) application processes
