NPI Engineer – (MNC / 5 Days / East / Material Planner) (TSS)

Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with clients and translate customers product requirements into the deliverables
  • Ensure the product produced meet specific levels of quality and product engineering performance
  • Ensure the product information is well establish, monitor the maintaining in the system and providing engineering specification for parts and products
  • Communicating timely the information of engineering change
  •  Ensure extensive project management and timelines for new product releases, product refresh and seasonal activities
  • Follow up customer’s feedback and engineering change of notification for product
  • Work with internal groups/suppliers to make the necessary rectifications
  • Communicate and follow up with clients, internal customers, and suppliers
  • Propose cost effective manufacturing methods, and materials in consultation with Supplier, Purchasing and Manufacturing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient service solutions for global customers
  • Conduct Packaging Testing, New Product Design Validation, First Product Implement with Customers and Operations for new product launches
  • Verification of components form fit and function specifications
  • Inspection of first article samples
  • Work closely with Sourcing and Business Management teams in creating, monitoring and presenting costs saving initiatives to clients and upper management
  • Set up and maintenance of data in ERP systems for Bill of Material, Component Specification, Material Group and External Material Group
  • Establish information related to accounts, example conduct training for knowledge transfer
  • Participate in training of processes, special projects and initiatives as needed
  • Perform daily responsibilities as directed by the NPI Manager
  • MNC, 5 days work week
  • 8:30am – 5:30pm
  • Location: Kaki Bukit / Ubi

 

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant qualifications
  • 3 years of working experience in supply chain related field
  • Experience in SAP/ Supply Chain/ Logistics and manufacturing preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint / Word / Visio
  • Experience with Access database will be beneficial
  • Self starter with ability to accept responsibility for a project and see it through to completion
  • Customer Service skills
  • Able to work independently and have team spirit
  • Good analytical mind and planning skills
  • Detail and accuracy oriented
