Business Development Executive (MICE Industry/5 days/Yew Tee Area) (TBB)


  • Support the Team Lead to develop, market and project manage design-related events such as forums/workshops/exhibitions/festivals throughout the year.
  • Actively drive business development and revenue generation for events organised, through sales of tickets, exhibition space and sponsorships, seeking out potential exhibitors, sponsors and partners for programs organised.
  • Ensure projects are well delivered and within budget
  • Adhoc duties as assigned.




  • Degree or Diploma in Business/ Marketing or its equivalent.
  • Experience in events and exhibition sales/business development and project management desired.
  • Candidates with sponsorship sales experience welcome
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience required.
  • A passion to drive and promote design
  • Confident and at ease with cold calls to canvass for sales and sponsorships,
  • Confident interacting with stakeholders from all levels, able to speak and write well with good interpersonal skills
  • Possess initiative, is proactive with a mature disposition, and takes complete ownership of projects/targets assigned.
  • Able to handle projects/targets independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task effectively with an attention to detail
  • Ability to handle pressure and perform effectively under tight timelines
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email proficient. Knowledge of design software a plus
