Accounts Payable Assistant (Local University/ 5 days) TJY

  • Involved in daily financial activities relating to AP (Invoices/ Payment), Claims Related and Purchasing Matters
  • Verification of invoices and ensure it is billed under the correct vendor code and update in SAP within the timeline
  • Follow up on outstanding status on invoices/ payments and ensure timely payment to suppliers
  • Coordinate with internal or external stakeholders on creation of new vendor code
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts payable
  • Assist in both internal and external audit including preparation of schedules or reports required for audit purposes and related consultancy work
  • Diploma holder in Accountancy, Accounting or its equivalent
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant working experience (Candidates without prior experience are welcome to apply as training is provided!)
  • Meticulous and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred
